Linear detection range from 12 to 250 &microM carbonyl in 96-well plate assay. Convenient. The procedure involves adding a single working reagent, and reading the absorbance after 30 min. High-throughput. Homogeneous "mix-incubate-measure" type assay. Can be readily automated on HTS liquid handling systems for processing thousands of samples per day. Method: OD375nm.
